Short
Pono Data Solutions is a small software shop in Hawaii. We build software for our own computers first, and let products grow out of the parts that turn out to be useful.
Pono Data Solutions is incorporated in Delaware, for the same federal reasons most companies choose it. The shop is in Hawaii, and Hawaii is home. The work, the gear, and the people are here.
We would rather ship one thing that works than announce ten that do not. So this site is deliberately plain: it lists what exists and the state it is in, and it changes when the software does.
If a page here says something is in private testing or in development, that is exactly what it means. When a piece is ready for other people, the page will say how to get it.
Hand-written pages, a warm dark palette, a serif for the headings and a monospace for the labels, and a little grain so it does not feel like it came out of a machine. No tracking beyond what the host keeps, and nothing for sale.
